NEW YORK-Volvo seems to continue to retain his title as automobile manufacturers concentrated in providing security for customers. This was demonstrated by awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2011.
Five Volvo models succeeded in making a mark as the safest cars or Top Safety Pick from IIHS. Five models are namely, Volvo C30, S60, S80, XC60 and XC90.
All models are successful losos tested in four different stages, of which tested from the right side, left front, the rear.
Furthermore, having examined from many sides, the five model managed to get a high score. So if an accident from the left, right, front and rear, passenger therein will not be injured seriously enough. Thus was launched Autoevolution, Tuesday (27/12/2011).
"We are proud of this award. With it, we will continue to maintain and improve the safety of passengers in cars that we produce in times to come, "said Thomas Broberg, Senior Safety Advisor, Volvo Car Corporation.
