PUNE, - Manufacturers of the world's cheapest car, Tata Motors of India to develop cars using fuel gas. Before the first electric Nano showcased at the Geneva Auto Show next year, it seems that TM first launched the CNG-fueled vehicles (Compressed Natural Gas).

Exposures is blown when TM was found wearing a sticker of Tata CNG test, as reported by rushlane.com. Trials conducted in Pune region and reportedly be the last step before mass production. In addition to alternative fuels, Tata is also reportedly developing a new diesel engine technology with a capacity of 800cc common rail direct injection (CRDi) from the German manufacturer Bosch.

There has been no official information relating to the development of CNG cars. But, the main reason, not because of the growing car market in India-based CNG. In fact, Maruti Suzuki will launch five models of gas-fueled car in August.

Tata might not want to miss or be defeated in his own country. Although India's domestic car sales are still dominated by Maruti-Suzuki.
